OrbitAnchor makes controlling the camera in SketchUp easier than ever. It lets you quickly focus on a point or object, even in busy and cluttered models. By anchoring the camera to a specific point, you can rotate and zoom precisely and easily, overcoming the limitations of SketchUp’s default Orbit tool.

1. Zoom as usual: Scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
2. Hold a key + scroll: Rotate the camera effortlessly.
   

Hold Key Mode: A completely new way to use tools in SketchUp! Instead of activating and deactivating manually, simply hold a key and scroll the mouse wheel to rotate the camera around your anchor point. Release the key to exit—quick, intuitive, and effortless!

How to Use:

1. Activate OrbitAnchor:

• From the toolbar.
• Navigate to Tools > Curic > OrbitAnchor in the menu.

2. Use Quick Hold Key Mode:

- Ensure you assign Hold Key Mode to a single shortcut key (e.g., a single key like V or ` ).

- To add the shortcut:

• Go to Window > Preferences > Shortcuts (on Windows) or SketchUp > Preferences > Shortcuts (on macOS).
• Search for Orbit Anchor - Hold Key Mode in the search bar, as shown in the menu path.
• Assign your preferred key.
